Awesome writing and perspective! In the end, it’s up to us to decide what’s important and what’s not. The freelance nomad life isn’t for everyone. It takes effort to settle down and build a home and commit ourselves to things that go beyond our individual millenial passion for freedom and flexibility. I have hesitantly walked a similar path that you are embarking on, and I have started to see some of that effort bear fruit after leaving the travel heavy, entrepreneurship hopeful world behind. I think it’s something that more of us millenials need to consider doing. Most of us want to have that deep impact in a field doing things that we enjoy, but we may be able to have more impact if we stop, grow roots, and commit to one cause, place, person or subject, rather than trying to save the entire planet through by swapping passions and places every few months. Good luck with your future family and life man and thank you for your sharing your introspection and perspective!
