I enjoyed this article. As a science fiction author I definitely don’t try to predict with any great accuracy what our lives will be like in the next few decades.

The article assumes all people what to keep up with rate of change of society and technology. I think this is impossible even at this point in 2021. His strategy of learning for 3–4 hours every day leaves little room for focusing on anything else other than learning and working.

Ironically with advanced algorithms feeding us much of the content and things we see right now, we need to become more aware of how we spend our time in the future.

Some will definitely attempt to choose the path of keeping up with rate of technological and societal evolution this article talks about. Others will opt for a slower paced life, in which they may have enough to survive today, but may not live to see the next phase of human evolution.

Either way, they will be forced to choose one path, because as the author quoted in the article, standing still means falling behind in our hyper competitive world.
