Notes on Crypto Gaming 101
I used to be a pretty regular gamer when I was younger.
Now, gaming is an occasional activity that I enjoy for an hour here or there every week. Except for the odd major release here and there I haven’t been too interested in gaming lately.
That changed when I heard about crypto gaming.
“What? You can play games and earn crypto tokens now?” I thought when I first heard about it. “I need to look into this.”
So I did. And man was I confused.
There are people playing a game that reminds me of Sim City, where you purchase property with real money and do…something with it. I’m not quite sure.
Then there are games that let you do yield farming for items of value (still not really sure what that means yet.)
Don’t forget get about the games that include swappable and customizable NFTs. Basically allowing you to grind resources and stats for tokens and other NFTs.
Whoo, this thing is confusing.
